Imposter Syndrome Coaching
Performance Under Pressure©:
Imposter Syndrome Edition

Are You An Imposter?
You've achieved a great deal. The evidence is there.
And yet the doubt persists. That quiet, persistent voice telling you that you're not quite good enough. That you've been lucky. That someone, somewhere, is about to find you out.
The Performance Under Pressure©: Imposter Syndrome Edition programme is for high-performing professionals who are tired of self-doubt and never feeling good enough, no matter how much they achieve.
What you may not know is that imposter syndrome doesn't look the same for everyone.
It might show up as:
-
Perfectionism
-
The constant need to prove yourself
-
Difficulty asking for help
-
Doing more work than anyone else and still feeling that it's not enough
-
Feeling stupid or like a complete failure if you don't understand something straight away
-
The feeling that you never quite know enough – just 'one more book/certificate/achievement' and then you'll know enough
-
The feeling that you've 'got away' with something and you'll be found out at any moment
-
Feeling that you've only got to your level of success through sheer luck
Whatever form it takes, the result is often the same: a constant internal battle that affects your confidence, performance and quality of life.
“I still have a little impostor syndrome, it never goes away, that you’re actually listening to me. It doesn’t go away, that feeling that you shouldn’t take me that seriously. What do I know?”
– Michelle Obama –
What This Programme Is
Imposter syndrome isn't a lack of ability.
It's a disconnect between what you know intellectually and what you believe about yourself.
This programme is designed to help you understand your imposter patterns, challenge the beliefs that keep them alive, and perform with greater confidence and self-trust.
We'll work across areas such as:
-
Understanding the psychology behind imposter syndrome
-
Identifying your imposter patterns and triggers
-
Challenging the thoughts and beliefs keeping you stuck
-
Separating evidence from narrative
-
Breaking the cycle of self-doubt
-
Building confidence and self-trust
-
Performing without the constant internal battle
The good news is that imposter syndrome is common, but it doesn't have to be permanent.
Who Leads It
Performance Under Pressure©: Imposter Syndrome Edition is led by Dr Marcelle Crinean.
Marcelle holds a PhD in Experimental Psychology, is a Certified High Performance Coach and Clinical Psychotherapist, and has spent the last decade helping high-performing people build confidence, strengthen identity and self-trust, and perform at their best under pressure.
Before retraining as a therapist and coach, she spent 20 years in senior roles in the IT software industry. She understands first-hand what it feels like to operate in environments where expectations are high, scrutiny is constant, and success doesn't always silence self-doubt.
This isn’t a programme built from research alone. It’s built from clinical practice, coaching experience, and lived reality.
