Performance Under Pressure©:
Burnout Edition

When Pushing Through Stops Working
High achievers don't burn out because they're weak.
They burn out because they've been asking too much of themselves for too long, often without realising the cost.
The Performance Under Pressure©: Burnout Edition programme is for high-performers who are exhausted, overwhelmed, or simply not functioning the way they used to, and want to understand why.
This isn't about slowing down or lowering your standards.
It's about understanding what got you here, recovering properly, rebuilding in a way that works, and creating a more sustainable way of performing for the long term.
We'll work through four stages: Understand – Recover – Rebuild – Sustain
-
Understand – how burnout develops, why it affects thinking, memory and performance, and the patterns that keep it going
-
Recover – rebuilding energy, focus and cognitive clarity without guilt or unrealistic expectations
-
Rebuild – creating new habits, boundaries and ways of working that support high performance
-
Sustain – putting the right strategies in place so you can continue to perform without ending up back where you started
This is not another wellness framework pretending to solve burnout.
It's a structured programme that combines psychology, neuroscience and high performance to address the real causes of burnout, not just the symptoms.
Who Leads It
Performance Under Pressure©: Burnout Edition is led by Dr Marcelle Crinean.
Marcelle holds a PhD in Experimental Psychology, is a Certified High Performance Coach and Clinical Psychotherapist, and has spent the last decade helping high-performing people navigate stress, pressure, burnout and recovery.
Before retraining as a therapist and coach, she spent 20 years in senior roles in the IT software industry. She understands first-hand what happens when high expectations, constant pressure and inadequate recovery become the norm rather than the exception.
This isn’t a programme built from research alone. It’s built from clinical practice, coaching experience, and lived reality.
